As the best-selling plug-in hybrid in the UK, drivers in the United States are starting to get excited about the 2017 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV. Although already best-selling in the UK, Mitsubishi has been constantly working on improving the vehicle before its American launch.
The recent technology updates apply specifically to the top-of-the-line Juro trim. The main addition to this trim is a variety of safety features. Drivers will now have access to a rearview camera that allows them to see everything that’s behind them. Also, there will now be an electronic parking brake with an automatic brake hold. This addition allows drivers to release the pedal in traffic or while stationary on a hill.
In addition, the new Outlander PHEV will now feature a Smartphone Link Display Audio System. This new technology allows drivers to control their infotainment system without ever taking their eyes off of the road. All that you need to do is tell your system what you want to access and the technology takes care of the rest.

Most Americans that file their taxes will receive some sort of refund. For some Americans, this refund will be thousands of dollars. If you’re getting a sizable return this year, you can spend your tax refund at Randall Mitsubishi. This is a great, easy way to get a down payment in a lump sum.
Industry experts recommend a down payment for a new car to be at least 10%. If your tax refund is $2,000 or more, you could easily have more than you need. With a larger down payment, you won’t need to finance as much of your car purchase. This means your monthly payments will be lower and you could potentially get a lower interest rate.
If you don’t want to buy a brand new car, you could also use your refund towards a great used car. Here at Randall Mitsubishi, we have a great inventory of affordable, quality pre-owned cars.
A third option for using your refund could be doing some serious maintenance or upgrades on your current car. If you’ve been putting off expensive repairs, use your refund to get your car in tip-top shape. Get a new set of tires, get your car detailed, get a major tune-up, or whatever it is you need to rekindle your love for your car. Schedule a service appointment at Randall Mitsubishi today.
From 1990 through 2012, the Mitsubishi Eclipse was a beloved sports coupe and convertible that helped build-up the Mitsubishi name for performance. That model may be gone, but its name is making a comeback. The 2018 Eclipse Cross, unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show in Switzerland, is not a sporty coupe, but a compact crossover.
Size-wise, this new model will fit between the current Outlander and Outlander Sport. It shares the same platform as the other two and will be 173.4 inches long. Mitsubishi says that the next updates for the other two models will make them larger and smaller, respectively.
The Eclipse Cross comes with sophisticated styling inside and out. It will be powered by a new turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine. Power ratings haven’t been released yet; however, Mitsubishi says it will be more powerful than the current Outlander, which makes 166 horsepower with its 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine.
Inside, passengers will find modern features, including a sophisticated touchscreen system. Available technology includes a head-up display, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto.
The 2018 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross will be coming to Randall Mitsubishi in early 2018. We’re excited to see this all-new addition sitting on our showroom floor and can’t wait to see how it performs on the road.

There is simply no other SUV on the road like the powerful, fuel-efficient, and spacious new Mitsubishi Outlander Sport. A rearview camera, Active Stability Control System, and one of the industry’s best warranties are just a few of the many features on the 2017 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport that elevate it above its competitors.
Once you drive with a rearview camera, you will wonder how you ever survived without it. This camera activates as soon as you shift into reverse, making it safe and easy to back down driveways, pull out of a parking spot, and much more.
Active Stability Control
The Active Stability Control system utilizes sensors to decrease your likelihood of slipping or losing contact with the road in any way; it monitors the grip of each tire and if one of your wheels begins to slip, the system enacts the Anti-lock Braking System.
Finally, in the unlikely event that something goes wrong and the vehicle fails in almost anyway, you will be covered by a top-notch warranty that has your back for either 10 years or 10,000 miles, whichever comes first.
Although it was scheduled to get its big reveal at the Chicago Auto Show, Mitsubishi decided to sneak out the 2017 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport Limited Edition debut ahead of time to the delight of fans and followers.

Take to the road with a new set of resolutions to kick off 2017. Finding the perfect New Year’s resolution can be a struggle for many drivers. As it turns out, the right resolution could be behind the wheel of your vehicle.
Tires – There’s little doubt the tires are one of the most important parts of your vehicle, which is why maintaining them is pertinent to many. Tires that aren’t properly cared for will create decreased fuel economy, a rougher ride, and wear faster. Take a few minutes each week to make sure there’s enough tread and that the tires are properly inflated this year.
Idling –One good way to waste money is by idling in the driveway. Winter is cold, which causes many drivers to let their car idle in order to warm up. The popularity of remote starters certainly doesn’t help matters either. In reality, the fastest way to warm up your vehicle is to drive. Most engines are ready to roll after just one minute of being turned on.
Maintenance – Keeping up with routine maintenance should be high on most to-do lists. Keep your car operating at peak performance by making service appointments and consulting your owner’s manual.
