Mitsubishi Reveals the New 2017 Mirage G4 Sedan

2017 Mirage G4 Sedan

The new 2017 Mirage G4 is going to give you more for less!

Back on March 24th, Mitsubishi became the talk of the 2016 New York International Auto Show, when the Japanese automaker finally revealed its all-new 2017 Mirage G4 sedan.

The Mirage G4 is basically just the sedan version of the Mirage hatchback, and it even comes with the same 1.2-liter three-cylinder engine rated at 78 horsepower. Consumers will have the choice between a five-speed manual or continuously variable transmission (CVT).

While the Mirage hatchback’s trunk offers 17.2 cubic feet of storage space, that number drops to just 12.3-cubic feet for the G4 sedan, but what’s a loss of five cubic feet when you gain the attractive exterior styling of the sedan version? The 2017 Mirage G4 is also compatible with both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, which are premium features not typically found in a vehicle that carries a starting MSRP of $14,830.

Consumers should also be happy to hear the Mirage G4 sedan will be backed by Mitsubishi’s strong warranties, which includes a 10-year/100,000 mile powertrain warranty, a fully transferable 5-year/60,000 mile new vehicle limited warranty, 5-year/unlimited mile roadside assistance, and a 7-year/100,000 mile anti-corrosion perforation limited warranty.

“A few years ago we entered the subcompact segment with the Mirage hatchback and its popularity with consumers has grown every year with its combination of top fuel economy, attractive pricing and one of the industry’s best new car warranties. The new Mirage G4 repeats that value equation in a four-door sedan package,” said MMNA executive vice president, Don Swearingen. “The Mirage hatchback and now the Mirage G4 sedan will form a formidable one-two punch in the subcompact segment.”

The 2017 Mitsubishi Mirage G4 sedan is scheduled to on sale in the United States later this spring. Tell us what you think of Mitsubishi’s new compact sedan in the comment section below or visit us at Randall Mitsubishi in San Angelo, TX.

Mitsubishi Mirage Wins Model Loyalty Award

Model Loyalty Award

The Mitsubishi Mirage makes loyal customers with its excellent fuel economy and affordable pricing.

We at Randall Mitsubishi are proud to offer the Mitsubishi Mirage, which was recognized by the IHS Automotive for the highest model loyalty for 2015.

This makes the second consecutive model year that the 5-door-sub-compact has been recognized with a model loyalty award in the Non-Luxury Traditional Sub-Compact Car Segment.

The IHS Automotive loyalty performance is determined when a household that owns a particular make/model returns to by the same make/model.

Don Swearingen, executive vice president of MMNA stated, “The Mitsubishi Mirage is one of the true hidden gems in the automotive industry and this IHS award validates that claim.” He also discusses how faithful owners understand and appreciate the Mirage, which offers leading fuel economy, attractive pricing, and a great vehicle warranty.

Last year produced record-breaking sales with an increase of nearly 30 percent. This boost in sales is encouraging when considering the new 2017 Mitsubishi Mirage. The new model has a refreshed exterior design, improved performance, and incorporates Apple CarPlay and AndroidAuto.

We at Randall Mitsubishi are excited to see the continued success of the Mitsubishi Mirage. If you would like to see why the Mirage continues to win customer loyalty, stop by for a test drive!

Mitsubishi Mirage is the Most Affordable Car on the Road

Most Affordable Car

The 2015 Mitsubishi Mirage has proved to save you money throughout the life of the vehicle.

According to a report just released by Cars.com, the 2015 Mitsubishi Mirage is “the most affordable car shoppers can buy,” based on criteria of initial cost, minimum feature requirements, and fuel costs.

Marketed for its incredible fuel economy, the 2015 Mirage is one of the most fuel-efficient cars on the road, even getting equivalent or superior gas mileage to some hybrids. Thanks to its low MSRP, which is $1,300 less than the second place car, and an estimate of $500 more in gas savings over 7 years than the second place car, the Mirage pulls ahead of the affordability pack by miles. The Mirage also comes with Mitsubishi’s amazing warranty program, setting it apart from other manufacturers’ vehicles.

Cars.com staff said that when considering the most affordable car they looked not only at lowest costs but at basic amenities like power locks and windows and an automatic transmission. The Mirage includes these at lower prices than many other cars whose base models have roll-down windows and a manual transmission.

2015 Mirage Fuel Efficiency Earns it a Spot on the Greenest Vehicles List

The 2015 Mitsubishi Mirage is as environmentally-friendly as any hybrid vehicle.

The new Mirage is earning all sorts of awards, including recognition from the American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy (ACEEE). The 2015 Mirage was recently named to the ACEEE “Greenest Vehicles” List thanks to its innovative eco-friendly design.

According to Mitsubishi, the 2015 Mirage fuel efficiency is the major reason for this recognition. The new model gets an incredible 44 highway mpg, the highest economy for a non-hybrid vehicle in the US. On top of that, the Mirage also comes with an array of extensive warranties to ensure you have no problem keeping your Mirage for a long time.

“We are pleased to see our 2015 Mitsubishi Mirage named to the ACEEE’s ‘Greenest Vehicles’ list, and we look forward to launching more new innovative and affordably-priced environmentally-friendly vehicles in the future,” said Don Swearingen, Executive Vice President of MMNA. “With its low price, plentiful features, exceptional fuel economy and extensive warranty, the Mitsubishi Mirage offers automotive consumers an unprecedented new-car value.”

ACEEE judges cars based on lifecycle greenhouse gas and emissions. That means the Mirage puts fewer toxic fumes in the atmosphere than most other cars on the road. What’s not to like about the new model? Visit Randall Mitsubishi to learn more about the 2015 Mirage.

Mitsubishi Motors Celebrates 24.8% 2014 Sales Increase

Mitsubishi Motors Sales Increase - Mirage

2015 Mitsubishi Mirage

With 2015 just starting, sometimes it can be nice to reflect on 2014 and everything that happened. This is especially true if you experienced an important milestone in 2014. This concept is certainly true for Mitsubishi Motors right now, which recently announced its 2014 sales numbers. It turns out that there was a 24.8% increase for 2013 when compared year over year to 2013!

“December marked the 20th consecutive month of year-over-year sales increases and helped us close out the year with an increase of nearly 25 percent over the previous year. Our core models lead the way with Outlander Sport having its best-ever sales year since its introduction, Mirage selling well beyond expectations and Outlander coming in strong up over 6 percent for the year,” said Don Swearington, executive vice president of Mitsubishi Motor North America, Inc.

Mitsubishi Mirage Sedan Coming to US

Mirage Sedan to join Hatchback

The Mirage hatchback will soon have a companion in the Mirage Sedan.

The Mitsubishi Mirage hatchback has been a pleasant surprise for the automaker in 2014, selling extremely well through the first 11 months of the year and standing firm as one of the most popular models we have at Randall Mitsubishi.

New Mirage Sedan Coming to America

If you’ve been considering checking out the Mirage but can’t get past the fact that you’ve always been more of a four-doors-and-a-truck kinda person, then we have good news: Mitsubishi will be bringing the Mirage sedan to the United States sometime in the near future.

Don Swearingen, Mitsubishi Motors North America’s executive vice president, confirmed what we’ve long suspected in an interview with Motor Trend, though he failed to dispense with the specifics as to when we can expect to see the Mirage sedan on American soil.

Whenever it arrives, it’s a safe bet that the Mirage sedan will offer similar capabilities and all-around driving enjoyment as its hatchback brethren with an equally-affordable starting MSRP.

Mitsubishi Mirage

The Mirage ES is an affordable option for buyers.

The year is coming to a close and the 2014 cars are leaving their positions of being the new guys on the block. That doesn’t mean they don’t still have that shiny sense of newness the car market loves. Looking back on them for their benefits and features is a way to remind ourselves that there’s still a lot to look forward to in these current-year cars.

The Mirage ES is a car for the economically-minded buyer. It’s low in cost and minimum features, great for the type of person who doesn’t need all the bells and whistles to appreciate their ride. It has a starting price of $12,995, making the Mirage ES cost friendly on the wallet, especially compared to its competitors. It can boast a nice, smooth ride thanks to its suspension system.

Just because its features are reduced doesn’t mean there’s nothing nifty about this low-tech car. With its full specs in place, the Mirage ES comes with Bluetooth, climate control, satellite navigation and some more options you can ask our dealers about.

2015 Mitsubishi Mirage Named Most Affordable Car

Cars.com labels the 2015 Mitsubishi Mirage affordable.

The Mirage won’t tug at your wallet as much as other cars, and it is worth it.

CNN Money reports that the 2015 Mitsubishi Mirage has been named the year’s most affordable car by Cars.com.

Cars.com, the gold standard in online automotive resources, did not simply rank all vehicles by retail price. The website examined cars of all shapes and sizes, requiring that all of them come equipped with power windows and door locks, Bluetooth capability, and USB ports. Additionally, editors factored in the price that customers would pay at the pump the first five years of ownership.

When Cars.com added together its price with options and destination fee ($15,015) and the five year fuel cost ($7,000), the 2015 Mitsubishi Mirage DE Automatic was the number one most affordable car, at a total cost of $22,015

“When we considered the most affordable cars, it was important that we looked only at models equipped with basic but important options like an automatic transmission and power windows and locks,” said Joe Wiesenfelder, the Executive Editor of Cars.com. “More often than not, entry-level cars with the lowest sticker prices are equipped only with a manual transmission and little to no additional features. We wanted to help consumers who want an incredibly affordable car to find one that also includes the niceties that almost every shopper has come to expect.”

If you are looking for a car that combines exceptional quality and value, stop by Randall Mitsubishi today to try out the year’s most affordable vehicle.
